China and the United States recently agreed to significantly extend the length of time granted by visas. What does this mean for our Chinese students and scholars on campus? It means that soon our Chinese students and scholars should be granted visas that are good for a longer period of time.
This change is expected to take place this week and the U.S. Department of State's Country Reciprocity Schedule should be updated soon with the new visa length for many visa types.
