U.S. Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS) has recently announced the timeline for the 2016 H-1B cap. As expected, USCIS will begin accepting H-1B petitions for 2016 on April 1, 2015. It is expected that the H-1B cap will be met within the first five business days of opening and therefore the H-1B cap will close on April 8, 2015.
