This introductory workshop will help you develop the skills to write successful fellowships and grant proposals. It will cover how to connect ideas to funding opportunities, going from the funding guidelines to outlining your proposal, and how proposals are reviewed. This session will concentrate on applying to postdoctoral fellowships from federal and nonprofit agencies.

While the June session will be geared towards graduate students and the July session will be geared towards postdocs, anyone who is part of the Georgia Tech community is welcome to attend either virtual session.

Facilitators:

  • Brandy Simula, PhD, professional development specialist and former fellowships advisor
  • Jana Stone, PhD, director of professional development and postdoctoral services
