Postdocs@Tech

Mission

Postdocs at a picnicThe mission of Postdocs@Tech is to improve the quality of life and working environment for postdocs and affiliates at the postdoctoral level (such as nontenure track scholars and research scientists) across Georgia Tech. Our goal is to create a forum for sharing knowledge, experiences, and advice. We aim to promote a sense of continuity, community, and identity among postdocs by doing the following:

  1. Enhancing the postdoc experience through contributing to the Institute's academic, educational, and research communities.
  2. Providing increased opportunities for personal and professional development.
  3. Creating a collective and unified voice that connects and advocates for the postdoc community within the Institute.
Postdocs@Tech MeetUps

These are social meet and greets for postdocs, research scientists, and other nontenure track hires. Grab a friend or head out on your own as we reach across disciplines to expand our social and professional circles. This event is free to attend. (But, individuals are responsible for paying their own bills.) Just come to the location listed below, and ask the host where to find the postdoc group (or start it yourself!).
