Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editing tool, commonly used by graphic designers.

In this beginning workshop we will familiarize you with the interface and introduce you to handy features/tools within the package, as we create a basic shapes, for logos or labels.

Exercises may include things like: typing on a path, extrude and bevel, working with text, blending, scaling, adjusting gradients, live trace and experimenting with the new shape builder tool. Illustrator is a must have in your arsenal of software for professional looking results. The class is held in a Mac classroom, so familiarity with a Mac environment is helpful, but not necessary. PC virtual environment also available.
