Jana Stone, Ph.D.
Director, Office Postdoctoral Services
Jana Stone is the founding Director of the Office of Postdoctoral Services, which opened in September 2013. In this role she develops programming and policies to enrich the postdoctoral training experience at Georgia Tech. Stone is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA). Stone earned a Ph.D. in Genetics & Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and B.S. in Microbiology from Indiana University. As a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, NIH, her research focused on DNA replication.
The Office of Postdoctoral Services reports to the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education & Faculty Development.
